Cacao and Ginger Bliss Balls Recipe

A healthy sweet treat that the kids will go crazy for!

Pair these delicious on-the-go snacks with our Pink Grapefruit & Guava Kombucha, and grab a natural boost of energy to get you through the January blues!

Here's how to make them:

Makes approx. 14 x 25g bliss balls

Ingredients

  • 100g dates, de-stoned
  • 130g cashew nuts
  • 50g toasted coconut chips
  • 30g cashew butter
  • 40g cacao powder
  • ½ tsp. ground ginger

Method

De-stone the dates and place them in a food processor and blend until they form a paste. Add the remaining ingredients into the food processor, with the date paste, and continue to blend until a fine crumb forms and the mixture binds together when pressed together when squeezed between your fingers.

Scoop out a tablespoon of the bliss ball mixture and roll it between your hands to create a ball shape.  Repeat the process until you have used up all the mixture.

Store the ginger and cacao bliss balls in an airtight container in the fridge and eat within 5 days. ENJOY!
